Tasting Notes
This is a wine for me. I think I could sit all day with my nose in the glass and never get tired of the strong boysenberry, blackberry and blueberry jam aromas. Then the vanilla starts to show up along with subtle hints of pipe tobacco. Fresh red apple seems to linger in the glass, after the aforementioned fade from the nose. In the palate the tannins are extracted, and the wine is even throughout the mid-palate to the full and lingering finish. The flavors roam from the jammy into a world of plumb, apple skin and rose water. This Petite finishes with raspberry and apple complemented by a toasty vanilla, giving the lingering flavors of warm apple pie.
