Sweet & Spicy Rub
For Cherry-Chipotle Smoked Baby Back Ribs

15 Minutes To Prepare

This recipe makes enough for two batches of the Cherry-Chipotle Smoked Baby Back Ribs. Make the rub a day in advance and allow the coated ribs to sit with the rub 24 hours before smoking.

INSTRUCTIONS

INGREDIENTS

¼c sweet paprika

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp granulated sugar

2 tsp Kosher salt

1 tsp freshly ground black pepper

1 tsp cayenne pepper

1 tsp dry mustard

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp celery salt

1 tsp dried thyme

DIRECTIONS

Add all ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly.


Remove membrane from back of ribs.


Apply rub generously on both sides with emphasis on the top.


Wrap ribs in plastic and store in fridge for 24 hours before smoking.
